We begin at the Renton Sailing Club location (this is within Coulon Beach Park) walking north onto the Eastrail to the Virginia Mason Athletic Center, the home of Seahawk's practice field.

Meet be ready to walk at 10am after visiting the restrooms located next to the meeting place. We will all walk together as one group, so please be on time. We will not be able to wait for latecomers. Allow about 2 1/2 hours for the walk.

MEETING PLACE & PARKING DETAILS: Renton Sailing Club at 1201 Lake Washington Blvd N, Renton, WA 98056 https://maps.app.goo.gl/bHfxkSPq4SwpgjKQ7 As you drive into the Coulon Beach Park, go cross the railroad tracks and then turn right. Park as far down on the right or left side of this parking lot, here parking is not limited to 2 hours as it is in other areas of the park. Once parked, continue walking north in the same direction you entered the parking lot to find the meeting spot below the lamp post (as shown in the photo) or next to restrooms under overhang if it's raining.

PARKING: Follow the road towards the end of the parking lot. Please park as far down the long parking lot as you can. Then walk to the meeting location.

RESTROOMS: There are restrooms near the meeting place and also about half-way during the walk, but the 2nd restroom requires climbing down and back up about 20 steps.

DEPARTING ON-TIME: Please sign in with us and be ready to leave at 10 am. We will keep together as one group.

REGISTRATION: Do this when you arrive. Meet us at the lamp post shown in the photo, near the parking lot and restrooms.

WHAT WE WILL SEE: Come enjoy a 4-mile walk with views of Lake Washington, residential neighborhoods, parks, restored wetland and habitat as we walk up to the Virginia Mason Athletic Center where the Seahawks practice. We will see a glimpse of the field and turn around and follow the same route back again.

WALK DETAILS: The walk will be about 4 miles and includes paved and graveled walkways, uneven boardwalks and paved sections include some uneven sections due to tree roots coming up through the pavement. Wear walking shoes or boots, no sandals please. We will all go out together and return to the same location.

ACCESSIBILITY: It is reasonably suitable for those using wheelchairs, strollers, etc. Well behaved dogs are welcome on this walk.

DOG & KID FRIENDLY: This walk is dog and child friendly. However, dogs much be kept on a leash at all times and children need to be able to walk 4 miles or be carried/pushed etc. by parents.

WEATHER: Our walks take place come rain or shine!
