What we’re about

Welcome to Fellowship of Fables, a Jeddah-based SFF book club for anyone who’s ever fallen in love with a world that doesn’t exist yet somehow feels more real than the one we live in.

We read across the spectrum of science fiction, fantasy, and speculative worlds from epic sagas to magical adventures, from fierce heroines to morally complicated heroes. Recent reads include A Tempest of Tea, The Adventures of Amina al-Sirafi, ACOTAR, The Poppy War, Iron Widow, Sanderson’s The Way of Kings, and more. In short: if it carries imagination, heart, or chaos, it probably lives here.

This is a space for global readers ages 13+, whether you’re new to SFF or deep in your 10th reread of your favorite series. Our community is built on curiosity, open conversation, and the kind of shared enthusiasm that makes even strangers feel immediately familiar.

If you’re looking for:

  • People who actually get why fictional characters ruin your life,
  • Discussions that move easily between serious themes and unhinged laughter,
  • A welcoming circle where your voice matters,
  • and a monthly escape into a new world:

you’ll fit right in.

Bring your book, your opinions, your snacks if you want—mostly, just bring you.

The door is open.

Welcome to the Fellowship.

Jeddah Book Club: Wuthering Heights Discussion Night

Jeddah Book Club: Wuthering Heights Discussion Night

Hoot Coffeehouse , 6116 Unit No: 2, As Zahra Dist, ahmad al attas, Jeddah,, Jeddah , SA

Join us for our November meetup of Fellowship of Fables, a small and growing fiction & fantasy book club based in Jeddah. We’re reading Wuthering Heights this month but our gatherings are more about connection than pressure.

What Our Meetups Are Actually Like
We meet at HOOT Coffee House, grab a table, and ease into the book discussion naturally.

We talk about the characters, the author, the themes, the drama, the chaos and what each of us noticed or felt. You don’t need to have finished the book. You don’t need to bring a physical copy. You don’t need to be “prepared.”

If you know the story, started it, skimmed it, watched analysis videos, or even just have opinions about Gothic romance… you’re welcome.
And after the book talk? We usually fall into conversation about life, uni, work, stress, goals, random tangents, it becomes a safe little circle that’s easy to belong to.

We’re hoping to welcome new readers this month, so if you’ve been looking to meet people in Jeddah who love storytelling and good conversation… this is your place.
