Felt’s Kickoff Hike:
Navigating What Changes Us
This is the first official Felt hike and the beginning of a community built around something pretty simple:
When life changes us, we shouldn’t always have to navigate that alone.
Felt brings people together through movement, nature, reflection, and honest human connection. This inaugural hike is for anyone moving through grief, transition, uncertainty, or simply a season of life that feels different than the one before it.
You don’t need to have a specific “thing” you’re working through. You don’t need to know anyone. And you definitely don’t need to show up ready to tell strangers your life story.
Just come walk with us.
What the hike will look like:
- We’ll begin with a brief welcome and introduction to Felt before heading up the trail together.
- The first portion of the hike will give us time to settle in, meet one another, and walk at a conversational pace. Along the way, I’ll introduce a few optional prompts designed to help us think about what we’re carrying, what may be changing, and where we are right now.
- At our scenic high point, we’ll pause for about 15–20 minutes of individual reflection. You can journal, sit quietly, take in the view, or simply give yourself a little space away from the noise of everyday life.
- Before heading back down, there will be an opportunity to share something from your reflection, but sharing is always optional.
- Then we’ll make the return hike together.
Hike Details:
- Difficulty - Easy to Moderate
- Distance - Approximately 3.8 miles round trip
- Elevation Gain - Approximately 640 feet

This might be for you if you’re navigating…
- A loss.
- A breakup or relationship change.
- A career transition.
- Parenthood.
- A move.
- A change in identity.
- Burnout.
- Uncertainty about what comes next.
- Or simply the feeling that life has shifted and you’re still finding your footing.
Felt is not therapy or a replacement for mental health care. It’s a space for movement, reflection, connection, and being around other humans who are navigating life too.
Come as you are. Talk as much or as little as you want.
Bring water, comfortable hiking shoes, layers for Colorado weather, and something to journal with if you’d like.
No fixing. No forced vulnerability. No expectation that you have it figured out.
Just a trail, some space to think, and people walking alongside you.
Guiding your way through what changes you,
DJ | Founder of Felt
