Felt Community Hike: Connection, Reflection & a Little Room to Breath

After a meaningful first gathering, we’re heading back to Genesee Mountain Park to keep building this community, one step at a time.

Felt brings people together through movement, nature, and honest connection as we navigate loss, transition, uncertainty, and change. You don’t need a particular story or a big life event to join. Maybe you’re carrying something heavy, beginning something new, or simply craving time outside and connection beyond surface-level conversation.

Whether you joined our first hike or are coming on your own for the first time, you’re welcome here.

When & where:

  • Sunday, October 18, 2026
  • 9:00 a.m.: Check-in and time to meet everyone.
  • 9:30 a.m.: Opening welcome, followed by the hike.
  • Approximately 12:00 p.m.: Closing and optional time to connect afterward.
  • Meeting place: Picnic tables near the Patrick House Trailhead parking area.
  • Address: 27460 Genesee Ln, Golden, CO 80401.
  • Distance: Approximately 3.6 miles round trip.
  • Difficulty: Easy to moderate, with uphill sections and uneven terrain.
  • Cost: Free.

What to expect:

  • We’ll begin with introductions and a brief welcome, pause along the trail with a reflection question, and make time at the summit for journaling and optional sharing before returning together.
  • This is a connection-focused hike, not a race. Talking, writing, listening, and passing are all welcome, and no one is expected to share anything they do not want. We listen without jumping into advice or trying to fix one another.
  • Please bring your own drinking water, comfortable shoes with good grip, weather-appropriate layers, and a journal and pen if you’d like to write.

Felt is a nonclinical community experience, not therapy or a substitute for mental health care.

RSVP so we know to expect you, and feel free to invite someone who could use a morning like this.

Come take your next step with us.
