Hi! We've just launched a new Meetup called Founder Adventures in Austin. Join here: https://www.meetup.com/austin-founder-adventures/
WHO WE ARE
A friendly circle of idea-rich, action-oriented founders who believe the quickest way to clear thinking is honest conversation in good company. We welcome first-time entrepreneurs, seasoned operators between chapters, and anyone looking for camaraderie as they plot what’s next.MISSION
To give every founder the clarity and community needed to turn the “next chapter” into a confident step forward.WHAT HAPPENS IN THE HOUR
• Icebreaker (first 5 min)
• Partner drill: Last Chapter → Next Chapter (about 30 min) – Share the pivotal moment that brought you here and the horizon you’re aiming for. Your partner mirrors back the hinge moment they heard—encouraging pattern-spotting and surfacing narrative arcs.
• Live Founder Hot-Seat (about 20 min) – One volunteer puts a thorny decision on the table (2 min context). The group fires pure questions or personal reflections (no advice, 3 min); then the founder reflects aloud (3 min).
• 90-Day Vow (final 5 min) – Write one time-boxed commitment, pick an accountability partner if you like, and walk out lighter and locked-in.WHO SHOULD COME
Founders, operators, and early execs in a liminal chapter—pre-exit, post-burnout, or mid-pivot. Anyone who’d trade another slide deck for structured, honest reflection.BRING
• A notebook (paper beats screens for this work)
• One decision you’ve been avoiding or wrestling withSOCIALIZING STARTS AT 7 PM
Feel free to leave or stay and mingle over a Kava bowl at the lounge, a cacao at the coffee bar, or a vegan dinner in the cafeteria.
