Bios:
Meri Williams
Meri is an experienced CTO and leader of technology organisations. She particularly enjoys helping others to level up as technical leaders and managers of organisations, and works as a CTO coach and tech advisor to various companies in this capacity through micro-consultancy ChromeRose.

She has led teams ranging in size from 30 to 300, in a range of organisations from Procter & Gamble, to the Government Digital Service, award-winning online print company MOO, mobile-first challenger bank Monzo and patient-inspired AI-driven rare disease treatment discovery company Healx, amongst others.

A published author and international speaker, she is the chair of The Lead Developer conference, and a tech advisor for Kindred Capital. She’s also a trustee at Stonewall, the UK’s leading LGBTQ+ rights charity, and together with her wife runs micro-charity One Goes Up to help young women & enby folks pursue STEM education & careers.

Nasreen Abduljaleel
Nasreen joined Marley Spoon in 2021 where she is currently Chief Technology Officer. Previously, she was Senior Director of Technology at Expedia, and Senior Program Manager at Appature. Nasreen has a Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science And Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology, Madras and a Master of Science in Computer Science from University of Massachusetts Amherst.

Nasreen is an experienced technology leader whose trademarks are empathy and an emphasis on value creation. Since joining Marley Spoon in 2021 as CTO, she has focused on building and delivering on a digital roadmap that can power business growth in a constrained capital environment.

Nasreen started in tech at university as the only woman in her Computer Science class where she learned the importance of having allies. She studied data science in graduate school and has published research papers on cross language search in journals and at conferences. She worked as a software developer at Amazon and has 2 patents to her name. During her time with Expedia in Jordan as Senior Director of Tech, she built a team of 100 engineers, 50% of which were women.

Kefirah Kang
Kefirah is a thought leader in emerging technology and business innovation, particularly noted for her advisory role with the Central Bank of Thailand on AI and her contributions to its Open Banking Initiative.

Her diverse clientele includes FinTechs and angel investors, blending deep insights with hands-on experience. A key achievement was her pivotal role in launching WeLab, Hong Kong's first licensed virtual bank. As the CTO of Finexos, a UK FinTech, she led the MVP's launch and its entry into the UK FCA's regulatory sandbox, resulting in a seed funding round that surpassed targets by 125%. She is also a patent co-owner of the first ID 2020 certified Self-Sovereign Identity Solution.

In recent years, Kefirah has dedicated herself to mentoring startup entrepreneurs and fostering female leadership. She is a well-recognized mentor within the startup community and a vocal advocate for promoting diversity in tech.
