Come join us for a lovely summer evening of friendship, delicious Italian cuisine, window shopping and a lovely stroll to The Americana on Brand.

Downtown Glendale has become the NEW restaurant capital of both the SFV & SGV. There has been a H-U-G-E SURGE of NEW & EXCITING upscale restaurants and cafés popping up virtually everywhere. I’m seeing them constantly on FB, Instagram & TikTok. And several of these new establishments have live entertainment shows which is rare these days. If you haven’t been to Glendale lately you’re in for a BIG surprise. I’ve lived here for years and was quite surprised when I took an evening stroll recently and discovered so many new places.

Cecile Trattoria popped up in my feed and really caught my eye for being so charming and quaint, and of course for what appears a fabulous Italian menu. So I decided to go scout it out first before posting the event.

It’s just as cozy and charming as it appears online. It’s located in the cute narrow Market Place Courtyard next to Home Goods so of course I had to go check out the store too. Come early and peruse the store aisles. Their Halloween merchandise will BLOW your mind!!

On a crisp autumn day, a weary traveler named Thomas wandered into Cécile's Trattoria, drawn by the comforting aroma of freshly baked bread. Their conversations deepened, and what began as a simple meal turned into a growing connection.

Over time, Thomas returned again and again, no longer just a traveler but someone who had found a place to belong. Through her food, Cécile not only nourished others but also discovered an unexpected bond. Our menu is a celebration of Cécile's adventurous and generous spirit, blending timeless Italian traditions with imaginative, modern touches. Each dish tells a story: the a la carte bread service that honors her beginnings, the delicate handmade pastas that mirror her artistry, and the decadent desserts prepared tableside, a nod to her love of creating lasting moments.
