For years I’ve been wanting to go to Solvang during their Holiday Julefest Experience. Two years in a row I wasn’t able to reserve their candlelight walking tour because it was sold out far in advance. If you care to join this tour book it IMMEDIATELY. There’s only THREE dates still open: Dec 10 , 17 and 23. I chose Dec 10th because this date also has the two markets to explore.

    Candlelight Tour $65
    A magical evening candlelight walking tour, led by a cheerful local guide dressed in a storybook Danish ensemble. Each participant will receive a glowing LED candle to light their way as they meander through the sparkling streets of downtown Solvang. Along the route, you’ll discover charming stories, soak in the twinkling sights and joyful sounds, and savor a taste of Christmas cheer.
