Fembies Pride Social Event

Come one, come all, to the Pride Social Event on Tuesday the 24th of June! We'll be learning, doodling, laughing, and paying our respects to the LGBTQIA community in honour of Pride month.

From 6:30pm to 8:30pm, everyone is welcome to join in on some fun activities with some chill folks!

Activities we’ll be doing:

• Pretend You’re Xyzzy is a free, browser-based multiplayer game that describes itself as a Cards Against Humanity clone. Players will be given a handful of white cards with ridiculous or outrageous phrases on, and they’ll have to choose the funniest card to the randomly chosen black prompt card. The Card Czar for that round will then choose the answer they like best. Warning: potentially raunchy game!

• Skribblio is a(nother) free, browser-based multiplayer game that is essentially Pictionary. Players in turn will choose a prompt to draw and the other players have to guess what it is as fast as they can! Custom words can be added to the prompt pool so this session we'll be drawing Pride-related pictures!

• Trivia Time!! Get ready for a chance to earn yourself the Astounding Ally title by answering the most questions correctly. But don't worry, we'll be watching a short video on LGBTQIA history before the quiz that will contain all the answers.

• Whiteboard activity: we'll be using this on Discord to make a nice collaborative drawing. If you're comfortable—write your name, draw a little doodle of yourself, and write a nice message (Pride-related or otherwise!) and maybe we'll get it printed on a tea towel, just like in primary school! (for legal purposes this is a joke)
