We will focus on connecting mind and body through gentle movement and mindful exercises. These are beginner friendly moves as the goal is to create safety within yourself and the moves have been tailored to be for movers 30 years and older.
Whether you're a beginner or experienced in somatic practices, this event is open to all levels. Let's come together virtually to start the day with movement, mindfulness, and community support. Don't miss out on this opportunity to prioritize your well-being and start your day feeling centered and energized!
What to expect:
Movement that is mindful and grounding, a combination of Somatic Movement, Yoga, Bharatanatyam Mudras, and Qi Gong. I will be guiding and bringing your awareness to your thoughts and body throughout the class. During the class I will be looking at attendants to see if they have any questions and to make sure nobody is feeling lost. For the month of June we will be working on mastering the moves I am teaching and the next month will be something a bit different. The goal is to make you feel confident in your movement.
Bring Along:
- A journal and pen to capture your insights
- A water bottle
- Yoga mat or other non slip surface, also bring a cushion if you are more comfortable that way.
