What we’re about

Hello Ladies,

I’m finally starting my group! Many of you already know me and have attended my dinner events over the years. For those who don’t, I’m Sheena, and I love great food, cocktails, and meeting new people!

Through these events, I’ve made incredible friends, tried dishes I never would have ordered, and discovered the most creative dining experiences. Remember the time we saw a horse-sized syringe used to inject sauce into a dish? Or when we watched a cocktail get prepared tableside with a hand burner? These are the kinds of memorable experiences I love sharing!

Unique about this Group:
• I rarely repeat restaurants. Every month is a new adventure.
• Each event is an intimate gathering of 6 to 8 women. I believe smaller groups foster genuine connections and better conversations.
• I’m obsessively organized, so I consistently plan one event each month.
• You’ll be able to see events for the upcoming months so you can plan your calendar accordingly. RSVPs opens two to three weeks before each event to avoid a mad rush.

Fridays are my time to unwind after a busy week. I love putting on my lipstick, dressing up, and diving into good food and even better company. Hosting these events is my passion, and they’re about savoring great meals while creating lasting connections with amazing women.

You can also find me on Instagram and Facebook.

Your Hostess and (Hopefully) New GF,
Sheena

FAQ

  1. How does Meetup work? When you see an event you’re interested in, RSVP to secure your spot. If the event is full, RSVP anyway to join the waitlist. You’ll be moved to the "Going" section automatically if someone cancels, in the order you RSVP’d.
  2. What happens if an event is full? If an event is full, RSVP anyway. You’ll be placed on the waitlist, and if someone cancels, you’ll automatically move to the "Going" section based on your RSVP time.
  3. How are events planned? Events will be posted months in advance, but RSVPs will open closer to the event date. Each event listing will include the RSVP opening and closing times and the number of spots available. This avoids a rush to RSVP and ensures everyone has a fair chance to join.
  4. Why are spots limited? For table-service restaurants, many don’t issue separate checks, and splitting a bill equally isn’t always fair. I manually calculate each person’s share at these events, which is easier with smaller groups. This ensures everyone pays their fair share and makes the event more enjoyable for me and the group. For counter-service restaurants, which usually don’t take reservations, I can include more attendees.
  5. Do I have to order food? Yes, ordering food or drinks is mandatory to support the venue hosting us.
  6. How do I pay? Everyone pays for their own food and drinks. Have exact cash or Venmo ready. If there is one check, I will manually calculate each person’s share. Bringing cash or a working Venmo account makes this process smoother for everyone.
  7. What if I’m running late? Arriving on time is essential. Many restaurants won’t seat us until everyone is present. Indian Standard Time may be a running joke, but for this group, I value punctuality to ensure everyone enjoys a smooth experience. Communicate with me if you’re running late, but note that consistent tardiness may impact your participation in the group.
  8. What if I can’t make it? Update your RSVP promptly. Repeated no-shows or last-minute cancellations may result in removal from the group.
  9. Can I bring a friend? Events are exclusive to group members. Encourage friends to join the group and RSVP for future meetups!
  10. What is a no-show? When you cancel after the RSVP has closed (usually 24hrs. prior to the event). Or if you're in the going section and you don't show up.
  11. Why is there a strict no-show policy? Restaurants often require a credit card to hold a reservation. If you don’t show up, I may incur charges, which isn’t fair to the group. Repeated no-shows will result in removal from the group.
