What we’re about

Femme Foodies of the Bay Area is all about celebrating the joy of fine dining and lively conversation. I am a passionate foodie who loves to explore new culinary experiences (despite my dietary restrictions), and I find that nothing brings people together quite like sharing an expertly crafted meal. A handcrafted cocktail or good wine is always a plus.

As a rule for this group, I do not repeat a restaurant. While I have my favorite comfort spots, every group event is a new adventure. This system allows us to consistently experience the Bay Area's diverse and unique dining scene.

I organize our intimate dinners for a maximum of six women to ensure genuine connection and the best possible conversation. My system is simple: events are held once a month on either a Friday or Saturday, and the lineup for the next couple of months is often posted, allowing you to see what is planned and when RSVPs open. I have been organizing dinner events for a couple of years, and I have the organizational system down to a T.

On average, I organize seven events a month, so at times I might be delayed in replying to your DMs. Bear with me.

Important Notes & FAQs

How to RSVP & Waitlist
If an event is full, kindly add your name to the waitlist. Meetup will automatically add you to the "Going" list if a spot opens up, in the order you joined the waitlist.

Cancellations & No-Shows
To respect everyone's time and the restaurant's policies, I have a strict no-show policy. A no-show is defined as canceling after the RSVP has closed or failing to attend an event for which you've RSVP'd. A no-show will result in immediate removal from the group. Likewise, several last-minute cancellations without a prior explanation will also result in removal.

Punctuality
Arriving on time is essential. Punctuality is required, as many restaurants will not seat our party until everyone is present. Kindly communicate with me if you are running late, but note that consistent tardiness will impact your membership.

Payments
Attendees are responsible for their own food and drinks. As many restaurants don't provide separate checks for large groups, I will divide the bill for everyone. To make this process smoother, kindly have cash or a working Venmo account ready. I appreciate your patience while I settle the check.

General Guidelines
To support the venues that host us, ordering food or drinks is required. All attendees must be members of our group, as no guests are allowed.
