Auditions: The Dumb Waiter by Harold Pinter

Details
We would like to welcome everyone, regardless of age, gender, or any other attributes, to audition for Harold Pinter’s The Dumb Waiter.
There are two characters in the play:
Ben* is assertive, though complacent
Gus* is more inquisitive, though defers to Ben’s authority
ALL auditionees will be asked to read for BOTH characters. We are interested in seeing the dynamic you form with your scene partner(s), and how this influences your characterisation, so it is not necessary to come to the audition with a strong preconceived characterisation. As such, the audition scene is attached so you may familiarise yourself with the dialogue if you would like to, but you do not need to memorise it. You are most welcome to read from the script in the audition, and copies will be provided at the in-person audition.
To Sign-up, please send an email to committee@festfrankfurt.org

FEST welcomes everyone who enjoys going to the theatre as well as those who are interested in acting, directing or helping behind the scenes. There are many opportunities to get involved with productions, or to just socialize and enjoy watching the plays with other theatre-lovers.
