TALK #1:
After building their first Google Chrome extension, TabZolo.co, as a learning project, David Small and Leo Correa will be introducing FEDM to what the development process looks like. It's far from being magical and just takes some HTML, CSS and JavaScript to get your new extension published!
ABOUT THE SPEAKER:
David Small is a local Miami web developer with the POP.co team. He dabbles with both frontend tasks (except major design work) and aspects of the application's PHP backend.
Leo Correa is a developer at http://Cloud.com . He's an avid coder and loves diving into new programming challenges and is currently using Ruby and Elixir on most of his projects.
TALK #2:
Geolocation with NodeJS & LefaletJS with Juan Lopez: Juan will present a simple and easy way to use LeafletJS - an open source JS library for interactive maps - along with NodeJS, & MongoDBto build a map application.
ABOUT THE SPEAKER:
Juan Lopez is a developer interested in learning new technologies. Over 5 years of experience in IT Security, Networking, Voice over IP, and Systems Administation. Currently working as Back/Frontend Developer for Insurance company; experience with NodeJS, Python, PHP, MySQL, HTML, JS, CSS, MongoDB, other Open Source platforms/projects. Love sharing knowledge and I'm an Open Source Enthusiast.
