Celebrate SASEC's Incorporation

Yay!! It's time to celebrate the incorporation of the South Australian Social Enterprise Council (SASEC)!!
To mark this important occasion we are giving zoom a miss and having a face-to-face meetup event at the Duke of Brunswick Hotel. We will be meeting upstairs at the Duke of Brunswick from 5pm to 6.30pm.

The event will mainly be networking, with just a few short speeches covering:

• the background to SASEC’s formation;
• SASEC’s National and International alliances;
• the development of an Australian National Social Enterprise Strategy;
• SASEC’s incorporation, website and membership.

Everyone will be buying their our own food and drinks, and for those that are interested, we could stay on later for dinner.

SASEC’s mission is to promote and support the development of the social enterprise sector in South Australia. Our key objectives are to:
(1) actively encourage and promote social enterprise
(2) provide a forum for interaction and communication between social enterprises
(3) promote and conduct research in support of social enterprise
(4) publish, speak and advocate in support of social enterprise
(5) encourage and facilitate the development of specific mechanisms and activities for the advancement of social enterprise
(6) enlist the support of and work with, governments, the private sector and the not-for-profit and charitable sectors to facilitate the development of social enterprise
(7) establish networks of and liaise with, individuals, organisations and institutions interested in and supportive of the development of, social enterprise.
