Introduction to Decentralized Web with DAT

With technology becoming an ever bigger part of our lives, we need to start thinking more about the underlying power dynamics and resiliency models of the software controlling our world.

So....our next meetup is about Decentralized web and Dat procotol. This time we will have a live streaming presentation from Ranger Mauve(Georgiy Shibaev) ,a canadian software engineer.

Ranger will introduce us to the state of the centralized web, and how the decentralized web builds upon it and improves some of its flaws.We will focus on Dat protocol and how it fits with decentralized web. We will also dive into decentralized web sites and how we can create one with Dat.

Με τη τεχνολογία να καταλαμβάνει ολο και μεγαλύτερο μέρος της ζωής μας, πρέπει να σκεφτούμε περισσότερο πάνω στην άμυνα μας στη διαρκής τάση του λογισμικού να ελέγχει το κόσμο.

Κάπως 'ετσι...αποφασίσαμε η επόμενη μας συνάντηση να αφορά το αποκεντρωμένο διαδίκτυο και το πρωτόκολλο Dat.
Η παρουσίαση θα γίνει μέσω live streaming με Καναδά, από το μηχανικό λογισμικού Ranger Mauve(Georgiy Shibaev).

Ο Ranger θα μας παρουσιάσει την υπάρχουσα κατάσταση σε σχέση με το συγκεντρωτικό μοντέλο του διαδικτύου και τη πρόταση για ένα αποκεντρωμένο διαδίκτυο. Συγκεκριμένα θα δούμε το πως δένει το πρωτόκολλο Dat με το αποκεντρωμένο διαδίκτυο καθώς και πως μπορούμε να δημιουργήσουμε μια αποκεντρωμένη ιστοσελίδα * με το DAT.
