Melding the agile and security mindset in government programs with SAFe

Government agencies typically impose documentation-heavy processes to ensure developed/acquired software meets information security requirements. Often these processes add massive delays to deployment schedules and hinder early and continuous releases. In this meetup, jointly led by Harry Koehnemann, SAFe Fellow and Principal Consultant at Scaled Agile Inc., and Andrew Long, VP of Agile Enablement and Transformation at Genesis Consulting, co-hosted with Radus Software, we will discuss how SAFe addresses information assurance concerns in the Scaled Agile Framework’s five core competencies of the Lean Enterprise, as well as additional practices and recommendations for bridging the gap between agile and security.
