FFF>50 has an amazing new home on the web. When you join us there, you'll be able to search for members who live near you and/or share your interests, create an interest-based club, post discussions in an organized and searchable feed, upload images, and of course create gatherings large and small. It's a real friendship-making machine!

Come WANCE with me for my 65th birthday!
Smithsonian, Washington, DC, USCome out and WANCE with me!! No, that’s not a typo, it just means "dancing while walking" in whatever way we want -- and just walking along is totally fine!
Basically we just move in any way we want together, with a portable speaker and a shared playlist of great songs.
Feb. 4 is my 65th birthday, and there's nothing I'd rather do than WANCE with great FFF>50 women!

Details:
- We’ll meet just before 10:30 am on Wed. Feb. 4 at the large map just outside the Smithsonian Metro Station on the National Mall.
- Please include your cell number in your RSVP so we can be sure to find each other.
- We’ll carry two linked Bluetooth speakers to play music that gets us moving.
- Requests for the playlist VERY welcome, send song ideas to patricia@fierceafter45.com or post them below, thank you!
- No dance experience required, no choreographed steps, just move and express yourself with movement to music. No worries if you have mobility challenges, we will adjust to everyone's speed as needed!
- Creative clothing, funny hats, protest clothing, etc. are very welcome.
- We’ll WANCE up and down the paths of the National Mall for about an hour, but we will make loops so people can break off and return to Metro as needed.
- A museum visit afterward is a great idea!!
- No birthday gifts; your presence is the best present!

Adult Recess!
Haycock Elementary School, 6616 Haycock Rd, Falls Church, VA, USPlaygrounds aren't just for kids (or summer!). After this storm passes, let's bundle up and let our inner child out to play!
We'll swing on the swings, balance, climb, slide (at everyone's unique comfort level of course) and also do a few functional movements to music (like pulling on bands looped around the equipment).
If it is raining lightly, we can still meet (as we did last time!) since there's a covered pavilion on the playground, we got this!
I'm qualified to lead exercise safely 😅, but the main point of this is simply outdoor movement, fun and in-person togetherness, all of which I want more of in 2026, how about you?
I'll bring hot chocolate in a thermal jug and some cups, you can also bring a hot beverage to share (or just your own portion), completely optional!

Let's Have Lunch Again at Circa in Foggy Bottom!
Circa Foggy Bottom, 2221 I Street NW, Washington, DC, USOur "monthly meeting" is happening again next week! We actually have 13 women already signed up via FFF>50 on Mighty Networks, but we have a few more spots for our dear friends here in our legacy group on Meetup!
Join us at the highly rated CIRCA restaurant just steps from the Foggy Bottom metro station. We'll either sit on the covered patio or at the long "communal" table. We'll have a sign so you'll know you've found us!
Enjoy small plates, a full meal, salads, cocktails, beer on tap or whatever you'd like best on a Sunday afternoon.
Of course, great conversation, laughs and in-person social time with great FFF>50 friends is the best part! Hope you can join!
