FFF>50 has an amazing new home on the web. When you join us there, you'll be able to search for members who live near you and/or share your interests, create an interest-based club, post discussions in an organized and searchable feed, upload images, and of course create gatherings large and small. Laughter "Yoga" with WISE Connect in Fairfax!
City of Fairfax Regional Library, Fairfax, VA 22030, Fairfax, Vi, USWISE Connect is a new non-profit offering great free activities for people 55+ (men and women).
They've invited me to present free Laughter Yoga in a community room at the City of Fairfax Library, and I'd really love it if some of our great FFF>50 friends like you can join!

Laughter Yoga has no yoga poses and no jokes — just gentle inspiration to laugh together. It's a super-healthful (research-backed) practice which is also fun, and you can participate according to your own comfort zone! (you are welcome to get a bit zany, or not at all!)

Fun Ice Cream Flavors and Friends at Mosaic District
Mimi's Handmade Mosaic District, 2985 District Ave, #160, Fairfax, VA, USCome try unusual (or traditional) ice cream flavors at Mimi's Handmade in the Mosaic District! We can even get a "flight" of flavors to share, so we can try Thai iced tea, Ube and other wild and wonderful varieties!
This is another partner activity with WISE Connect Fairfax. They have announced it as a Ladies' Ice Cream Social, so we get to meet their ladies and they get to meet us! Win-win.
It's also always fun to walk around the Mosaic District (an outdoor shopping area). Free parking garages, or it's a 1-mile walk from the Dunn Loring metro station.

"The People's House," then Renwick Gallery and optional lunch!
The People's House: A White House Experience, 1700 Pennsylvania Ave NW, Washington, DC, USJoin me and Linda V. to tour The People's House, a new (2024) educational museum about the history of the White House, operated by the White House Historical Association (originally founded in 1961 by Jackie Kennedy).
We have twelve free timed tickets for 11 am on Tuesday, Sept. 1. Currently we have 5 women signed up through our group on Mighty Networks, so we have room for more!
Afterward we can visit the nearby Renwick Gallery and finish off with lunch at 1 pm at The Grilled Cheese Bar, 1730 Pennsylvania Ave. Join for some or all, hope to see you!
