Local chapter of the Freedom From Religion Foundation based in the Cincinnati metro area. Our purpose is to promote the constitutional principles of separation of state and church, and to educate the public, leaders, and other community members to the ideals of secular humanism, atheism, agnosticism, free-thought, science, and reason through thoughtful discussions, panels, or lectures, to eliminate prejudices and discrimination against people with no religious affiliation.

His enemies in the radical fundamentalist Christian far-right call him other things, like “The Most Dangerous Man in America,” “Field General of the Godless Armies of Satan,” and “The Antichrist.”
Michael “Mikey” Weinstein is a 1977 Honor Graduate of the United Stated Airfare Academy who served 10 years with the Judge Advocate General (“JAG”) Corps. His family has a long and distinguished U.S. military history spanning three consecutive generations of military academy graduates and over 130 years of combined active duty military service in every major combat engagement our country has been since World War I. A registered Republican, Weinstein spent three years as a White House legal counsel in the Reagan Administration and more recently was General Counsel to H. Ross Perot. He left Mr. Perot’s employ in 2006 to found the nonprofit charitable organization the Military Religious Freedom Foundation (MRFF) to battle antisemitism and militant evangelical religious fundamentalism in the U.S. military.
For 20 years MRFF has been actively challenging religious freedom issues in the U.S. military with letters to commanders, personal meetings, lawsuits, and public outreach through the media, gained international recognition for the Foundation and eight nominations for the Nobel Peace Prize. The Foundation’s board of directors that includes retired generals, a Nobel Prize winner, and prominent figures in business and the arts.
