Hometown Holiday
Details
This event is FREE and inspired by Nick Tourville's "Hometown Holiday" TTRPG. Enjoy an afternoon venturing through the misadventure of the Hometown Holiday.
Synopsis:
Welcome home! It's a few days before Christmas back in your oh-too-small hometown and you are all horribly single. What better way to spend the end of the year than hearing all your family and friends ask you why you can't get a date.
HARKEN LO, what's this? It's your childhood crush who is also single and ready to chastely mingle. They're also in town and someone invited them to the Christmas Eve party you're attending! Yay!
BUT OH NO, all of your rivals in love are also single, and they were invited to the party too! Cupid seems to be smirking at you, as your rival are ready to steal your one last chance at true love! Not yay!
This February 11th, join your friends or other acquaintances at Spieda Games to find out if you have what it takes to win a kiss under the mistletoe at midnight Christmas Eve. At 5pm, learn what it truly means to live, laugh, and (hopefully) love. And maybe experience the true meaning of Christmas along the way.
Hometown Holiday is a tabletop RPG with an emphasis on no combat and hammy dialogue, or at most slaps to the face and trading insults with your detractors, thus losing love points with the Love Interest. Dice, pencils, paper, and chocolatey-sweet kisses provided.
