we're not really a book club,

just a few of us trying to structure our reads! tag along?

here's a quick summary of important things:

fbc: book of the month
frequency: monthly, last sundays of the month
genre selection: meet attendees nominate & vote
book selection: mailing list members nominate & vote
venue: virtual, so nearest computer screen or mobile

p.s.: this is a queer run space.

p.p.s.: we're a self-paced book club! or so we call ourselves, to let you know that it's of course okay if you'd want to skip a book for a few months and come back later! read when you like and join whenever you can! just know that we're here whenever you'd like to be a part. :)

Delhi Readers' Year-end Mixer
What: Ice-breakers, Tambola with gifts to win, Open floor for general chit-chat, Read aloud time where participants can share their favourite poem or passage from a book, and secret santa.
When: Sunday, 21st December, 2025 from 3.30 to 6.30 PM
Where: A Venue at a 2 mins walk from MG Road Metro Station, in Gurgaon. (Exact venue will be disclosed to people who RSVP, and confirm their spot)

How Much: We want to keep our events absolutely free, and make them accessible! But then we've seen that people RSVP and often don't show-up!!! So, here are the ticket options:
1. The Free Ticket, for Rs 150 per person! You pay right now at the time of RSVP'ing, we save you a seat, and we refund the amount back to you at the venue.
2. The Paid Ticket, for Rs 300 per person! We save you a seat, we give you a snack box during the event for your hunger pangs, and also a small return gift.

• The free books that we link in every mail are an effort to make reading more accessible. We're mostly torn between making reading more accessible and supporting independent bookstores, so if you are someone who can buy a book we strongly suggest buying from an offline neighbourhood store.
