This hike emphasizes durability, pacing discipline, and sustained effort over longer distances while maintaining group cohesion.
The intent is to build confidence and work capacity—not to test limits recklessly.

- Intermediate hikers or progressing beginners
- Participants comfortable with extended time on feet
- Those seeking challenge without chaos

### DISTANCE, PACE & TIME
- 8–9 miles
- Average pace: ~2.5–3.0 mph
- Multiple planned breaks for hydration and recovery

### PACK WEIGHT GUIDANCE
- 15–20 lbs non-consumable weight
- Does not include water, food, or essential gear
- Load selection is self-regulated and conservative

### GEAR & PREP
- Secure, tested pack setup
- 2–3 liters of water
- Adequate calories for duration
