### ABOUT THIS EVENT
This long-duration weighted hike focuses on composure, efficiency, and disciplined pacing under load. The goal is steady forward progress and finishing strong as a group.

- Intermediate-level participants
- Hikers preparing for longer endurance challenges
- Individuals comfortable managing effort over several hours

### DISTANCE, PACE & TIME
- 9–10 miles
- Average pace: ~2.5–3.0 mph
- Planned extended breaks as needed

### PACK WEIGHT GUIDANCE
- Up to 20 lbs non-consumable weight (optional)
- Load choice should allow upright posture and controlled movement

### GEAR & PREP
- Secure backpack
- 3 liters of water recommended
- Sufficient calories and electrolytes
- Full foot-care and first-aid kit
