What we’re about
This group is for;
- Authors and illustrators who are earnestly working toward their goals such as publication, competition, or just personal satisfaction!
- … who have a strong interest in the sci-fi and fantasy genres …
- …and want to come talk and trade experiences with like-minded colleagues!
I was always reluctant to join a group because my creations were my ‘babies’, but, when I recently joined a podcast community the support and feedback was invaluable – I hope we can create the same in person!
This is a brand new group so sign up now to register interest!
My hope would be to get a core group to meet once a month to talk writing and/or illustration, present pieces, share critique/tips, and generally enjoy the community and support of folk who love the same hobbies. I also would envisage us having adjacent events to see the latest cool movie or art exhibition. Optionally if there was interest we could arrange an informal book-group too.
I’m thinking to host the group in the region of Kinross-shire to be near the M90 and central for as many people as possible (though, let me know your nearest city as there's room for compromise). I also plan to ensure we are keeping membership to those who are active (or on notified hiatus).
