Come and join us for dinner at a Korean BQ restaurant and The Rumours Fleetwood Mac concert at the Grey Eagle casino. You can buy tickets for the concert wherever you want to sit. We are sitting in the raise seating in the middle for this one. The tickets are about $85.00 each. We will go to a Korean BQ restaurant for dinner first. On Tuesday’s they have an all you can eat experience for about $35.00 each. The restaurant is called Baekjeong and it’s very close to the Grey Eagle Casino. The food is delicious and it’s a fun time cooking on the Korean BQ grill while sitting and enjoying a drink and eating appetizers. Everyone will be responsible for their own bills and gratuity.

Come and join us for an all you can eat Baby Back Ribs dinner and to play the card game Golf. The Rib special is $19.99 + gst & gratuity per person. The card game Golf is a very fun simple game that anyone can play. Everyone will be responsible for their own bills. The reservation will be under Crystal. For those of you that had the Rib dinner on July 20th, your Rib dinner will be complimentary from the Kilt. You will have to pay for your drinks and any thing else you have and gratuity.

Come and join us for an afternoon/evening of playing Mexican Train. This is a game played with dominoes. The object of the game is for a player to play all the dominoes from their hand onto one or more chains, or trains. This will be a fun event and please have some Experience playing this game. Let’s make a variety of delicious food for this event. If you haven’t made a main dish for a while please take your turn. Make sure you bring enough for everyone to have a taste. Bring what you will be drinking for this event as well. Everyone will need to Stay until we are finished the games.

Rules:

Everyone draws a tile to see who starts the play. Highest goes first

Place the double 12 on the base. Game continues using the double 11 etc. ending with 0,

Up to 4 players everyone takes 15 tiles.
For 5 or 6 players everyone draws 12 tiles.
7 or 8 players everyone takes 10 tiles.

First Turn

The first player must have a domino with a 12 on it to start his train. If not, he picks up a tile from the boneyard. If he picks the needed tile he can immediately play it.

Player 2 must now play a 12 or draw.

*If you at any time have a tile that can be played somewhere, you must play it.

If you have a 12 you may also chose to open the Mexican train rather than start your own train. The Mexican train is open for everyone to play on.

Play continues around the table. When a player cannot play a tile he has to pick up a tile from the boneyard. If he still cannot play anywhere his train comes down allowing other players to

When a player has the opportunity to play a double it is placed at bottom of matching tile forming a T. They must play a second tile after laying the double. If he has more doubles he can play them if there are available spots on the board. Double are to be satisfied in the order that they were played except for the person laying the doubles. He can satisfy any of the doubles he laid down but must announce the remaining order of the tiles to be satisfied by the other players. It is best strategy to force the next player to have to answer the double by placing the 2nd tile somewhere else. The double allows for 2 new rows to be added to the train (one on each end of the double)

If a player is unable to play and the boneyard is empty, the player simply passes and puts his train down.

When a player has 1 tile left he must announce “last tile”. If he doesn’t and someone notices before the next player plays, he must pick up 2 tiles. Game ends when one player plays all his tiles. A double can be played as a last tile.

All players add up the face value of their remaining tiles. If they have a double it counts as 50 plus face value. Example: 0 = 50; double 3 = 56; double 12’s = 74.

Come and join us for a Halloween Party @ Kidares Ale House. We strongly encourage that everyone dresses up for this event. The pub is going to supply a cover classic rock band for our listening pleasure and prizes for the evening. This will be lots of fun. Specials will be posted when we know what they are.
