Eastside Tavern, also known as "The Basement Bar," is a historic bar in Mount Clemens, Michigan, famous for being the first establishment in Macomb County to receive a liquor license in 1933, operating out of the basement of an old farmhouse. It's known for its unique, cozy atmosphere with low ceilings, a simple but popular food menu (especially burgers), and live music, making it a local landmark with a rich history dating back to Prohibition.
