What we’re about
This is a group for anyone that is in their 50s that is interested in connecting with other Fifty Somethings. I was inspired to create this Fifty Something meetup because anytime I wore my Fifty Something t-shirt, it sparked curiosity and inquiries about my age. People wanted to know if I belonged to a group or club or something. I would reply: I don't want age to define me nor my spirit. So I thought I would reach out to other people with a similar perspective and outlook on life.This group is great for emptynesters who are interested in meeting up at least once a month to do fun activities such as bowling, movies, nearby beach trips, cookouts, theme parks, exploring new restaurants, etc. Also I would like to plan one major trip each year for all to enjoy. Calling all emptynesters that enjoys traveling and having fun now that the kids are all independent. All are welcome, both females and males. Looking forward to building a great meetup and enjoying great outings with everyone.
