Join us as we hold a weekly 1-hour protest against Trump/Musk actions and policies.
There is a broad umbrella of participants we welcome - any political affiliation is fine, if you have a beef with any of the administration's actions or policies not limited to but including all the reasons listed below.
If you join this protest, we offer signs, commiseration with local community members and, most of all, power in numbers. There is no cost or commitment but for 1 hour of your time on any Friday that you wish to join us.
Here are just a few reasons you may want to join us:
the dismantling of foreign aid to poor nations; mass, disorganized firings of federal workforce, often based on area of expertise rather than contribution to the public good; demonizing and dismissal of scientists in multiple disciplines; revenge politics against law firms and individuals; freeing of Jan 6 criminal rioters; unqualified and misinformed people in key administration roles; spreading of disinformation; stripping of power from regulatory agencies protecting the health, safety and finances of average citizens; DOGE access to private information; DOGE threatening emails to federal employees; firing of young workers who will be the next generation of leaders; removal of the US from the WHO; defunding of science grants for technological advancement; removal of patient protections under the Affordable Care Act; cuts to student loans; rollback of EPA protections; firing of nuclear safety inspectors...well, we could go on a very long time, indeed.
