What we’re about
A group of fighting gamers. We meetup weekly and do tournaments twice a month. Sometimes organise travel together to some fighting game majors (OzHadou Nationals, Battle Arena Melbourne, EVO USA, EVO Japan, etc.). And sometimes we organise house sessions and watch parties for tournaments around Australia, and around the world.
We play games like Street Fighter 6, Guilty Gear Strive, Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves, Tekken 8, Virtua Fighter 5 R.E.V.O, Blazblue: Central-Fiction, and more!
We are most active on Discord, so it is strongly encouraged to follow the link below and join the Discord server at the very least. (This meetup page is mainly to attract more eyes, but will be kept updated to the best of our abilities! - Until December 2025)
Currently meeting every Thursday night at Badger & Co. in ANU for dinner, drinks and casual games. Roughly from 5PM to 9PM.
Tournaments generally every 1st Saturday of the month, and every 3rd Saturday of the month.

#### ANUFGC Proudly Presents... DANCING BLADE
Come along to room 2.02 of the Marie Reay Teaching Centre at the ANU for a fun day of fighting game action!
We need community-sourced setups in order to be able to run this tournament so please bring any consoles, monitors or other equipment that you can! Please note that this tournament is open to all and you do not have to be an ANU student to attend this event.##### Schedule:

- 11:00 AM: BlazBlue: Central Fiction (PC, $2)
- 12:00 PM: Virtua Fighter 5 R.E.V.O (PS5, $2)
- 12:00 PM : Guilty Gear Strive (PS5, $5)
- 1:30 PM : Street Fighter 6 (PS5, $5)
- 1:30 PM : King of Fighters XV (PS4, $2)
- 2:30 PM : Fatal Fury: COTW (PS5, $5)
- 2:30 PM : Tekken 8 (PS5, $5)
Players must pay to enter each event and arrive at the venue before the scheduled start time, and are not allowed to enter 3 concurrently running events. TOs reserve the right to DQ attendees from brackets if participation in multiple events is stalling your brackets. If you're going to be late please let a TO know. Tentative events will be confirmed day of.

- $5 discount on venue fee for ANUFGC members!

- BYO controller - we try to bring spares but can't guarantee you'll get one.
##### Setup Discounts:
Smash Ultimate relies on community-sourced equipment to run, so please bring a setup if you're able! You will receive a $2 discount if you bring a console or a monitor with HDMI input, and FREE ENTRY if you bring a complete console + monitor setup. A valid console setup includes a Nintendo Switch (or NinSwi2) with Smash Ultimate + all characters unlocked + dock + power supply + HDMI cable.
