This Meetup group is for artists who want a reliable place to draw and paint from the human figure in a welcoming studio environment. We host Quick Sketch sessions with the nude model, longer sustained pose sessions, and occasional clothed portrait sessions at the Bucks County Classical Arts Center in New Hope, PA.
Most sessions are designed for artists working independently ā you bring your sketchbook, pencils, charcoal, or paint and work at your own pace. The goal is simple: good models, good light, and a focused, friendly room where people come together to draw.
Our studio includes:
- Free parking
- Handicap access
- Warm single-form lighting on the model
- Easels, drawing boards, and tray tables
- Coffee and water
