Kumustahan #1 (Berlin Edition)
Details
Since it is the start of Spring, it may be nice to sit on the grass and have our first kumustahan while taking in the sun. I know it is a little bit last-minute, but if you are free, let us meet at Boxhagener Platz this coming Sunday, March 22, at 1:30-3:30 pm. You can bring some snacks for sharing, but most importantly, magbaon kayo ng kwento!
Filipino Vocabulary:
Kumustahan refers to a gathering or activity where people greet each other and communicate, often sharing stories and news. It is derived from the Filipino phrase “Kumusta?", which means “How are you?” in English.
Magbaon means to bring food or provisions, often for a trip or outing. It can also refer to the act of taking essentials for a particular occasion.
Kwento means story. It is derived from the Spanish word cuento.
