Meditation in Melifont and lovley walk n tour at Oldbridge Battle of the Boyne

Bank Holiday Monday Adventure – Mellifont Abbey & Oldbridge Estate ⚔️🌿
Join me for a day of history, landscape, reflection, and a touch of the mystical.
Our journey begins at beautiful Mellifont Abbey with some gentle shamanic-style meditation and drumming, allowing us to connect with the atmosphere of this peaceful and sacred place.
We then move on for a pleasant walk along the beautiful Boyne Valley at Oldbridge Estate, followed by a visit to the famous Battle of the Boyne site.
Both locations have excellent visitor centres and are well worth visiting.
Mellifont Abbey, one of Ireland's most peaceful historic sites, is a perfect way to spend a Bank Holiday Monday — stepping away from the noise of life and reconnecting with nature, history and ourselves.
I’ll also do a short walk and tour at the Battle of the Boyne site, sharing what really happened there beyond the myths and politics. I previously gave this tour to the Northern Brethren in Ballinaveigh, Belfast — and if they were happy with it, I must not have been too far wrong! 😂
The visitor centre and restaurant at Oldbridge are excellent and worth the few bob entrance fee.
