This group is for film lovers and readers in the Henderson/Las Vegas area who want to discuss movies, books, and everything in between in a relaxed & welcoming space.
We meet regularly at The Coffee Press, a cozy coffee shop at the Paseo Verde Library in Henderson, at Green Valley Ranch.

How It Works
- Everyone is welcome, whether you're a regular movie goer, only turn up for the Oscars or the big summer blockbusters.
- Got a film or genre suggestion? Great! We'll rotate themes to keep things fresh and inclusive.
- Please try to watch the film beforehand so we can dive into meaningful discussion. (Spoilers are fair game!)
- Feel free to bring articles, reviews, or share online content you found thought-provoking, as discussion is encouraged!
- We'll aim to cover major cinema blockbusters, as well as indie films and book adaptations.
- We will aim to watch films that are available on major streaming platforms or are new at the cinema.

Cinemark Century Orleans 18 and XD, 4500 West Tropicana Blvd, Las Vegas, NV, USSurprise yourself with a Secret Mystery Movie!
These movies are usually a new, soon-to-be-released film from Hollywood before it comes out. And not only do you get to see the movie early before it's officially out, but you get to see it for only $5!
The catch is: the title is totally secret until the opening credits roll.We've seen blockbusters such as Gladiator II & September 5, many great films that we wouldn't normally go to see such as American Fiction, Boys In The Boat, Relay (check them out, especially Relay!) - and occasionally a stinker but that's the chance you take.

We’ll talk predictions, surprises, snubs, early favorites, and which films lived up to the hype - or didn’t. Whether you’ve seen several of the nominees, just one, or are simply curious about what’s getting awards buzz, this is an open and welcoming discussion.
There’s no pressure to be an awards expert. This meetup is about sharing opinions, discovering standout films, and swapping recommendations before awards night - all in a relaxed, casual setting over great coffee.
