About us
Looking for a community of filmmakers, film lovers, and industry folks who believe the best stories come from voices that don't always get the spotlight? You've found it.
Imagine This Women's International Film Festival (ITWIFF) is a NYC-based nonprofit dedicated to championing women, non-binary, BIPOC, and LGBTQ+ filmmakers. Since 2016, we've grown into a full community β not just a once-a-year festival, but a year-round network of screenings, panels, mentorship, and events for people who care about representation in film.
Join this group to:
Get first access to our annual festival (our 11th edition runs September 25β27, 2026, at Regal Union Square in NYC)
Attend industry panels and summits, including NextWave Film + Media Summit and Girl Power Summit
Connect with mentors and peers through our Emerging Voices Mentorship Program
Network with filmmakers, crew, and industry professionals at meetups and screenings
Hear about submission calls, volunteer opportunities, and ways to support underrepresented storytellers
Our alumni have gone on to win Oscars, BAFTAs, and Daytime Emmys β but this group is just as much about the community as the accolades. Whether you're an aspiring filmmaker, a working industry pro, or just someone who loves discovering great stories, come be part of it.
