Use up a long cherished fabric - Sewalong

Details
Err... I was going to say: "Let's use up an old fabric", but I don't mean just an "old" fabric, but one that we have held onto for too long! As long as it's still nice material (not distorted, faded, bobbled or otherwise no longer good enough to sew with).

How about a Sewalong that encourages you to dig out a fabric that has been waiting to see the light of day in your craft basket for a very long time? How about using up your 'oldest' fabric?
You can make any project you like (at home) and then tell us about it in the comments. And come to a Dressmakers meeting and show us how far you got!
I recently dug out a fabric I must have had about 15-20 years. I kept looking at it from time to time, thinking: "Oh yes! That's the fabric I'll make a straight skirt out of!" and then laid it aside again and even kept moving house with it. Yep, several times...
No more! It must be used or passed on: no more taking up precious space!
To be honest I have started to sew with this, I just need to revisit my self-drawn pattern so I can cut the lining out. But I do have lots more fabrics that need to be used and this sewalong will give me the best chance to get stuck in.

Let us know what kind of fabric you have that you could never find the right project for. How much of it do you have, what sort of projects could you use it for, what kinds of ideas is this sewalong sparking?
Let's encourage each other to do a bit of stash-busting!
Who's in?
