Make Two sewalong

Details
Do you have a self-made and much loved item in your wardrobe that you wear all the time? And do you want to make a second one? Are you hoping to make a garment that would benefit from a toile (aka muslin) before you cut into precious fabric? Are you perhaps unable to decide between two versions of the same pattern and want to make both?
Take part in our Make Two sewalong!
The idea is that you end up with a photo of two items from the same pattern (it's fine if you already have the first one). This can be different views, different colour fabrics, a hopefully wearable toile and the final garment, or any other kind of two garments from one pattern. It even counts if a pattern envelope has two different items that appeal to you - go for it!
It absolutely counts if you already made one and now want to have a go at a second one - you can start straight away or wait until the start of the sewalong, we don't mind. I certainly like to sew when the mood strikes me.
This sewalong was suggested by Katie, thank you Katie! To give ourselves more time than just two weeks, we thought we could put this sewalong in two parts: this is Part 1, and Part 2 will be called 'Take Two' (not posted just yet). Join us for one or both, whenever you have time.
As an added benefit for those of us who are overwhelmed by massive fabric stash: we could try and make these from fabric we already own. This obviously doesn't apply to anyone who doesn't suffer from more fabric they know what to do with.
Please post comments about what you are planning to make, quote the pattern number if you can, or post a photo of the fabric/s and/or pattern envelope once you have it. Let's share ideas to motivate and inspire each other.
Happy Sewing!
