Cinema: Gaslight (1940)

• This is a different, earlier version than the 1944 film (that one was with Ingrid Bergman, Angela Lansbury, Charles Boyer)

I must admit that I didn't know that there is an earlier version than the 1944 film, I couldn't find it on imdb because it was released as Angel Street in the US. This version is said to be truer to the stage play Gas Light from 1938. The cast of this 1940 version is Anton Walbrook, Diana Wynyard, Frank Pettingell, Cathleen Cordell.

This is part of the 4 Year Anniversary celebration of the Garden Cinema's existence. It is my favourite cinema.
