🎬 Welcome to the Filmmakers & Movie Nerds London!
This group has long been a place for filmmakers in London to connect and now it’s getting a fresh start. The London Filmmakers Society is transitioning into the London chapter of Filmmakers & Movie Nerds, an international community of filmmakers with an active base in Berlin and beyond.
Our meetups will once again be a space to connect, collaborate, and create. Sometimes it’s a casual hangout to talk film, other times we workshop scripts, share feedback, screen projects, or even plan shoots together.
The group is now organised by me, Matty, London-based filmmaker, specialised largely in video editing. I'm kicking things off, but the direction of the meet ups will be shaped by all of us. It would be great if some of you would help me with that.
No matter your level of experience, you’re welcome here. Bring your curiosity, your stories, your skills and let’s make and watch movies together.
