An afternoon analogue photo walk starting at Canning Town tube station and walking around the Leamouth area.
A bit of history of the area:
The Leamouth Peninsula has transformed from an isolated marshland and early dock site into an industrial area, "London's Lost Village" of the Victorian era, to a modern urban renewal area featuring creative communities and a large-scale residential development called London City Island. Key historical features include an early dock from the 13th century, the 19th-century industrial hub created by the East India Docks, and the 20th-century slum clearance that displaced residents, followed by its resurgence as a center for artists and creative industries.
