MOVIE SYNOPSIS:
Gale: Yellow Brick Road is a 2026 horror-fantasy film, a dark reimagining of The Wizard of Oz, focusing on Dorothy Gale's granddaughter, Emily, who inherits a family curse linked to a terrifying, nightmarish version of Oz that haunts her family. The film expands on darker themes from L. Frank Baum's books, showing Oz as a decaying realm of horror where familiar figures are twisted, and Emily must confront these terrors to break the cycle. Directed by Daniel Alexander, it's set for a February 11, 2026 release and follows the 2024 short film Gale: Stay Away From Oz.
