Play Reading at the Swimmer

Join us to read through a play, script in hand. You don't need to memorise any lines, but you'll get the chance to read, and bring as much character and performance to your reading as you like. You don't have to read aloud if you don't want to, and there's no expectation of ability - we're an encouraging, good-natured group!

Our play this week is Clue, a murder mystery farce adapted from the 1980s film of the same name starring Tim Curry. It's fast paced and funny, with plenty for everyone to do. You can find the script here:

We're at a new venue - the Swimmer pub, 2 min walk from Seven Sisters road. The pub staff have kindly offered us the use of a function room, meaning we'll have more space to perform, less noise, and no longer have to wrap up before 9pm!
