The Finance Fabric User Group is a virtual-first community for finance, accounting, FP&A, planning, and analytics professionals exploring Microsoft Fabric. Whether you're building reports, budgets, forecasts, or scenario models, this group is a space to learn, share, and connect with peers who work at the intersection of finance and data.
We cover topics including:
- Semantic models and Power BI reporting for finance
- Budgeting and forecasting in Fabric
- Planning in Fabric IQ
- Data engineering for financial systems
- Scenario planning and decision support
- Excel integration and migration paths
Sessions feature demos, guest speakers, open Q&A, and peer discussions. All skill levels are welcome.
Our sessions are held virtually, with select in-person meetups at major conferences and community events.
This group is led by Khaled Chowdhury and Alex McPherson, with additional community leaders joining over time.
