History of Money by Jack Weatherford

Our first event! We will be meeting online via Zoom to discuss the History of Money by Jack Weatherford. Weatherford is a Professor of Anthropology and best selling author who clearly outlines the history of money from a cultural and economic perspective.

This book will we give us a better sense of how pre-monetary societies functioned and how money money evolved throughout history and helped usher in prosperity through trade and global cooperation. A great place to start our journey through financial history in very accessible and interesting book.
