Die With Zero: Getting All You Can from Your Money and Your Life

Details

Imagine if, by the time you died, you did everything you were told to. You worked hard, saved your money, and looked forward to financial freedom when you retired.

The only thing you wasted along the way was . . . your life.

Die with Zero presents a new and provocative philosophy, as well as a practical guide on how to get the most out of your money—and out of your life. It’s intended for those who place lifelong memorable experiences far ahead of simply making and accumulating money for one’s so-called “golden years.”

Author Bill Perkins wants to rescue you from over-saving and under-living. Regardless of your age, Die with Zero will teach you Perkins’s plan for optimizing your life, stage by stage, so you’re fully engaged and enjoying what you’ve worked and saved for.

WHAT TO READ
There is only one edition, published in 2021. It's around 240 pages so we should be able to cover the entire book.

SOME GENERAL RULES FOR THIS BOOK CLUB:

SAFE ENVIRONMENT
Personal finance can be a difficult subject for some people to discuss, so please be kind and courteous. We won’t tolerate hate speech, bullying, or degrading comments about things like race, religion, culture, sexual orientation, gender, or identity. We also want to respect everyone’s privacy. What happens at book club stays at book club!

BE INVOLVED
Nobody can force you to read the book we’ll be discussing, but we hope you’ll try. Not every book will connect with everyone, but hopefully, there will be at least one new idea you can take away. You’re also not expected to participate in the discussion, but everyone has unique opinions and life experiences – and we think yours are as valuable as anyone else’s!

NO-SHOWS
Please be considerate of others on the waiting list when an event is full. If you’ve signed up but can no longer attend, update your RSVP as soon as possible to allow others the opportunity to join. Members who are no-shows more than twice will be removed from the group.
