Challenge: Cancel One Streaming Service (Simple Money Reset)
Even when finances are in a good place, there’s value in staying intentional. Most of us have at least one subscription—often a streaming service—that quietly keeps charging us even though we barely use it.

This challenge is a small, practical reset:
Cancel one streaming service you don’t truly need.
Think Netflix, Hulu, Disney+, Max, or any other subscription that’s easy to forget about but easy to keep paying for.

How it works

  1. Identify one streaming service you can cancel (or pause if that’s your preference).
  2. Cancel it sometime between now and April 28.
  3. Come back here and leave a comment sharing:
  • Which service you cancelled
  • (Optional) What helped you decide
  • That’s it.

What “completion” means
You complete this challenge by posting your comment in this challenge thread before April 28.

No tracking, no reporting burden—just a simple act of follow-through and accountability.

Why this matters
This isn’t about deprivation or cutting joy from your life. It’s about noticing:

  • what you actually use
  • what you’ve simply been paying for out of habit
  • and how easy it is to reclaim small amounts of financial clarity

Small decisions compound. This is one of the easiest places to start.

Final note
There’s no “right” subscription to cancel—just the one that makes the most sense for you right now.

The goal is not optimization.

It’s awareness, action, and a small win you can actually complete.
