No-Spend Weekend Challenge
For one weekend, try pressing pause on unnecessary spending.
The goal isn’t perfection or deprivation. It’s awareness. How often do we spend out of habit, boredom, convenience, or routine?
The challenge:
Avoid non-essential spending for the weekend.
Essentials like groceries, gas, medicine, or emergencies don’t count. The focus is on discretionary spending—eating out, impulse purchases, entertainment purchases, online shopping, and “might as well” spending.
How to complete the challenge:

  • Join this event
  • Comment that you’re in
  • Post again after the weekend and share how it went

Sometimes the fastest way to understand our spending habits is simply to interrupt them for a couple of days.
