With 2016 around the corner there is no better time then now to start looking for that new and exciting opportunity!

Thanks to Capgemini (http://www.uk.capgemini.com) we have an amazing venue, beer and pizza!

Just a reminder, Unfortunately we will not be allowing recruiters to attend this event.

FORMAT

6:30pm - register, make a badge, grab a beer and start networking

7:30 - companies do 2 minute presentations on mission and roles available; bring your team up to the front so that candidates can see who to look for, or you should all wear distinctive clothing (branded tees, penguin outfit, etc)

7:50-ish - more beer and networking until close at around 9pm

BADGING

When you arrive, pick a badge to show whether you're hiring, looking to be hired (candidate), or offering jobs on behalf of other companies (agent). Then use our Skillset Stickers to show what the main skillsets are that you're offering, or looking for. The coloured badges and iconic stickers make it easy to spot who you want to talk to, even across a roomful of people. One matching sticker is usually enough to start a conversation.

Companies

If you're offering one or more jobs, check what the sponsors are interested in - because candidates with those interests will usually dominate the event. We strongly recommend that you post a short description of your mission and open roles in the discussion below, and you prepare a two minute presentation on what your company mission is, and what roles and culture you're offering.

Do bring along technical staff. Techies like hearing from peers and managers what the business is like and what the expectations and culture are. Your team can also help with screening, of course - fast matching of culture and fit is the point.

Candidates

There will be a number of roles on offer, at many skill levels from career entrant to, usually, CTO/Architect/Lead Tech/Product Management. There are typically fewer roles the further we move from coders.

CHECK TO SEE WHAT THE EVENT SPONSORS ARE LOOKING FOR, ON THE DAY OF THE EVENT - THEN CHANGE YOUR RSVP, PLEASE!

We do get companies just turning up without a strong overlap with sponsors, and a wide range of roles are usually on offer, including roles that may not be the primary focus of the sponsors. But you will stand a higher chance of success if what you offer, overlaps with what the event sponsors are looking for, and the comments from hiring companies and agents in the discussion area below, and in the attendee descriptions on the right.
