What we’re about
Community Catalysts is all about finding people who share a love for making their communities a better place and serving those in need. We work with several organizations in the Phoenix area, including but not limited to:
- Feed my Starving Children
- Society of St Vincent de Paul
- Arizona Humane Society
- Andre House of Hospitality
- United Food Bank
We host biweekly meetups in which we travel to these organizations and provide them with the helping hands they need.

First event for Community Catalysts!
Overview:
Join us for a 2 hour packing session from 7-9PM on Tuesday, September 23 at Feed My Starving Children in Tempe.Feed My Starving Children is a food-packing service delivering nutrient-rich meals to children in impoverished communities globally. Volunteers hand-pack meals that are then shipped worldwide. This is an excellent opportunity to give back and meet new people.

What to expect:
Please arrive 10-15 minutes early so we can get a headcount and have the opportunity to introduce ourselves. We will be packing meals for the majority of the time after a brief information session. There are several jobs for people with varying ability levels. Be prepared to be on your feet most of the time and to follow proper food safety precautions. Do not attend if you are sick or showing symptoms of illness. Visit the FMSC website for more information about what to expect.
