Hi Everyone, Kicking a first event off with a fun personal project co-work session and mini workshop.

An area will be allocated within the venue with tables available where we will set up and work on our own projects. This will be a space to both work on your projects and share ideas and collaborate with others who are also working on their projects. There will be plenty of space to spread out, take breaks chat and socialise.

Why?
I like working on my projects, and I like being around other people who are also working on things they're interested in. It's always energising and inspiring to see people doing their thing and choosing the spend their time doing it. However, I've always felt there's been a lack of places to go where you can simultaneously relax, work on things you're genuinely interested in, all in the company of others doing the same.

This is not supposed to be a professional co-work space with the hardcore work vibe. I want to create a place you can go to do what you want to do, build what you want and be inspired by other people around you. That's all :-)

Mini Social media Workshop

At the halfway point I'll be running a short social media workshop and Q&A for anyone who is either thinking about posting on social media, looking to grow an audience, or want to start sharing their message or mission.

As an introvert who's been terrified of putting my face on camera this journey has been challenging to say the least, but learning how to do this enabled me to gain a boost in exposure to my message and clients to my business.

I'll share how I did a complete 180 from being quite against social media to being very pro-social media for some unlikely reasons.

I'll be sharing my personal experience growing my own accounts from 0 with no prior knowledge, to building audiences of over 130,000 on Instagram, 400,000 on TikTok and 23,000 on YouTube. I've also helped people grow their accounts too.

I'll share some of the very specific tactics around audience growth, dealing with self-doubt and fear of failure/judgement.

For anyone that attends, I'll also be able to give some customized suggestions and strategies for your approach.

Games
Finally, I'll be bringing some games, for some time out during breaks. Pictionary will be on han d as well as a nintendo Switch.
